The Wailers - Sequels of Love '77 (aka The Horn Mixes)

YES I! The long awaited 2-disc set is finally here. This is the first half of the Exodus & Kaya Sessions, which a small section was released on the internet and named "The Horn Mixes". Many were lucky enough to stumble across this, which raised a few brows about other demo sessions of other album releases that were kept secret for so many years. So to all who own the so called "Horn Mixes", here's that in it's entirety! To those who never stumbled across that set, don't fret. You won't be missing anything, but gaining far more that those who have the "Horn Mix" copy and have no knowledge of this full set.

I remember as a youth I would always listen to Exodus around the Holiday Season, take this as a Holiday gift! I even added 2 Bonus Tracks from the 2012" Mix sessions!!!! Sequels of Love '78 COMING SOON!

Peace, Love, iNity!

The Wailers - Songs of Redemption

Songs of Redemption aka The Buffalo Soldier Tapes, is a collection of the 7" & 12" single releases from the Trilogy Sessions. All of these singles are alternates from the album versions. Even the slightest differences that the untrained ear might not capture off hand, but with comparison you'll find the difference within mixes (like So Much Trouble in the World).

This here is a little bonus for the long awaited sequel to Black Survival '79, Uprising Confrontation '80. You have the demos, now you have the opportunity to own the alternate single mixes. Think of it as the extended piece of the Trilogy Session's puzzle. This 2-CD set also includes an old Wailers classic performed live in Jamaica, 1979. This was the ONLY performance of this re-released classic, never again was it performed anywhere else! Luckily it was bootlegged for I&I to remaster to throw into this awesome collection. Enjoy. JAH Bless.

Gregory Isaacs - Cool Ruler Returns! 1984-1986

Simply in memory of one of the greatest Reggae singers of all time, I&I would like to present a compilation of Mr. Isaacs' best in his underdog years. This compilation focuses mainly after his two successful albums on Island Records Night Nurse (1982) & Out Deh! (1983).

I&I was reading a biography one day about Gregory, and it seems like his discography history was correct, however it seems like they have forgotten about the releases from 1984-1986 (with exceptions of the popular 1985 release, Private Beach Party). No mention of releases of Easy (1984), All I Have Is Love, Love, Love (1986), or even a true Reggae fans favorite release with the Prince of Reggae, Dennis Brown, Judge Not (1984). Well TH3MO3M3NT is here to help jog memories of those who forgotten (or maybe never heard) the up-full rydims like "A, Miner", the seductive lyrics like "Don't Say No", the upbeat tempo off tracks such as "When I Needed a Friend" with the help with some of your favorites off of the 1985 release Private Beach Party.

Cool Ruler Returns is the perfect compilation for that Gregory Isaacs fan who would like to advance out of his Island Record releases, to later yet still classical releases. The majority of these albums were never re-released on CD, making it even harder for younger fans to obtain knowledge of these releases. Some were released on CD, however, were not released in major numbers of quantity therefore making them very rare and pricey. This compilation is here to help prevent these releases from getting swept under the rug by any means necessary.  Enjoy. JAH Bless.

Track Listing:

1. More On More
2. A, Miner
3. Inner City Lady
4. Wish You Were Mine
5. Tenement Yard
6. Nobody Knows
7. Special to Me
8. Don't Say No
9. Losing Weight
10. No Rushings
11. When I Needed a Friend
12. Street Walker
13. Bits and Pieces
14. Continent Woman
15. Feeling Irie [feat. Carlene Davis]
16. Sad and Lonely Man
17. Let Off Supm
18. Love is Overdue
19. Promise is a Comfort

The Wailers - Uprising Confrontation '80

In this 2-CD set is the final piece of the Trilogy sessions before they were mixed to publish Uprising (1980) & Confrontation (1983). This set includes all of your favorite songs from both albums including missing tracks from Black Survival '79 which could not be included due to lack of time slots. Did we just make an continuing sequel of a trilogy? I think we just did! Speaking of "sequel" be on the look out of the Exodus & Kaya session releases coming soon entitled "The Wailers '77" & "The Sequels of Love". These two sets were supposed to be released first, I know "aww", right? But here's my redemption! If I would have released them at the time I was "supposed" to, it wouldn't have been the full release. The Exodus & Kaya sessions, lost dubs, & alternate mixes were a BIG mess being there are SO many of them. In fact SO many I'm sure it'll take more CDs to give you all the FULL set for those 2, than it did for these 3! Don't you just love the sound of that? I litterally have to break those sessions in half to make sure you get everything, so bare with me! I mean I was nice enough to say "skip it, just do it out of order so they can have SOMETHING", right?

These sessions were devided up between his friends when he died. Some of them took better care of the tapes than others (you can tell by the sound quality), but nevertheless I&I appreciate them spreading the love & JAH's message!

P.S. These are the last STUDIO sessions, not last recordings. I will make a compilation of songs he recorded in late 1980 through early '81 RIGHT before he died, but only upon request! So spread the message. The more request, the more & faster I will release material, which is one of many reasons why it took me so long to release THIS. It's will include acoustics he recorded at his mother (Mama Booker) & other smashing sessions. These will be mostly acoustic though, many were written for a new album, however many believe the album was "Confrontation". Either way you look at it, it's all good material! JAH Bless!

Peter Tosh - Stepping Razor Red X - The Soundtrack

On September 11th 1987, approximately 8:30 pm, Peter Tosh was assassinated in his own home by Dennis "Leppo" Lobban, an old friend of his with assistance of two other unidentified gunmen. Many years throughout his career he warned many people about watching out for your friends, fore one day they may turn their back(s) on you, especially over money. Many songs with such references such as: "Lessons In My Life", "Guide Me From My Friends", That's What They Will Do, & many other classics he made throughout his career.
This compilation album is a specialty to ALL hardcore Tosh fans, and not only because it contains many rare & unreleased material. This compilation pays tribute to what I&I believe is (if not the best, at least) one of the best documentaries ever based upon a Reggae artist's career; "Stepping Razor Red X".
For those who may not be familiar with the documentary "Stepping Razor Red X", it's based off the life and assasination of Peter Tosh. The documentary contains material from tape recorded diaries that were recorded from 1983-1987, and were "discovered" in 1990. Whenever Tosh saw his name on an official document, he would mark it with a red "x", thus being how the term "red x" came about.
Many believe Tosh was murdered during a robbery due to not having any money stashed in his house. However most believe that due to his plans of buying a radio station with close friend and DJ Jeff Samuel "Free-I" Dixon, evil forces plot the assassination to put a stop to Peter's massive  spread of educating people of the ways of RasTafari.
There are many situations which relates to the belief that the murder was premeditated, which also makes it seem more believable. One well known situation is related with the speeches Peter gave while performing at the revolutionary "One Love Peace Concert" in 1978. He starts off by making remarks about the concert itself: "This concert here, dem say it's a 'Peace Concert'. I-man never wan come, you know why? 'Cause why? 'Cause it's a 'PEACE CONCERT'!" He then goes on making comments directly towards Michael Manley of the People's National Party (PNP) & Edward Seaga of the Jamaican Labor Party (JLP);"I wonder if many people know what the word 'peace' mean. The most intellectual people in our society think 'peace' means coming together, seen? Peace is the diplomacy you get in the cemetery...this is a 'Integration Concert'." A couple months later Tosh was arrested for possesion of Marijuana and beaten until his near death. To stop the officers from beating him to death, he stopped breathing and "played dead". In an interveiw in 1979 Tosh stated that while faking his death, he over heard an officer say, "yes, he's dead", leading to the public belief of Tosh being in great danger.
24 years after Peter Tosh's untimely death, the message he spreads through Reggae music still lives within thousands of people willing to accept RasTafari. Now 18 years after the release of the documentary that let you vision the life & death of Peter Tosh, now comes with it's own soundtrack for many Tosh fans to enjoy for years to come!

Love, Peace, iNity, RASpect, & (most of all) Prosperity!
JAH Bless I&I. Enjoy!
